About the Nestor Protocol

Attribution

The Nestor Protocol smart contracts were originally developed by DEFYCA Labs S.a.r.l. under the permissive MIT licence. The protocol is now maintained and operated by Nestor Exchange OÜ (Estonian registry code: 17303259).

The legal issuer of digital securities under the Nestor Protocol is Nestor Exchange S.a.r.l., a Luxembourg-regulated entity operating the NESTOR SECURITISATION FUND in compliance with MiFID II (2014/65/EU) and Luxembourg securitisation law.

Security Audit

The smart contract suite received a comprehensive security audit from Hacken.io, achieving perfect scores:

  • Security Score: 10/10
  • Code Quality Score: 10/10
  • Overall Security Rating: 100%

This audit was performed on the original codebase as developed by DEFYCA Labs S.a.r.l. Any modifications to the protocol code post-acquisition will require a new independent audit to maintain the integrity of the security assessment.

Licence

The smart contracts are distributed under the MIT Licence. This enables free usage, modification, and distribution with proper attribution to the original authors.

The Nestor Protocol APIs and UI components are provided under commercial licensing arrangements.

Deployed Infrastructure

The protocol is deployed on the Avalanche C-Chain. Contracts were originally deployed under the Frictionless Markets namespace. On-chain contract names reflect this original deployment. See Deployments for the full contract address table with both Nestor product names and on-chain names.
